This brochure for Lockheed Martin required the display
of a number of different telecommunication satellites.
Each satellite was highlighted with a full page photo
or illustration to capture the awe of the satellite or the satellite in flight.
Sticking to strict guidelines I maintained the company's brand and effectively
showcased each satellite with its content.
United Missile Defense Company was looking for a softer
touch for their ads. Ads that would bring the issue closer to heart without
displaying the harshness of its industry.
This ad and the following two were a series.
Lockheed Martin Telecommunication company needed a brochure
that would introduce their new Direct Broadcast system. This satellite brought
direct links from the entertainment business of film, music, sports and theater
to the consumer.
For the look and feel I brought out the flare of the
entertainment industry with the use of bright colors and a dramatic cinematic
look. The porportion of the front image is also that of a cinema screen.
Vooha requested a clean simple logo with a slight twist.
I chose to accent the "V" by giving it a couple
of different angles to create a sense of uniqueness and movment. The rest
of the letters I choose to use smooth round surfaces to contrast the sharp
angles of the "V". I overlapped the two "o"s and "V"
to slightly pull them together, which naturally supports the distinct two
syllable word as well.
Logo for Oracle's eLearning service.
Using the Oracle red as a background, I used negative
shapes to punch out the letter "e". This creates a large yet non-dominating
"e". The angle creates a sense of movement with the tail end of
the "e" leading to the word "Learning". This makes an
easy to read and balance logo.
Bridge of Hope foundation is a non-profit organizaton
helping the handicap and single mothers.
I drew two simplistic silhouettes representing the handicap
and single mother reaching out and forming a bridge. I then tightly incorporated
the name to create a cohesive logo. Added the long tagline in a arch above
the logo which acts like a frame.
LazerLine is an innovative laser tool for creating instant
perpendicular points and accurate straight lines for the construction industry.
Construction usually known for its solid and strong buildings led me to go
with a bold and plain font. I separated the two words by sloping one and screening
the other. To incorporate the laser technology I add the horizontal red bar
above the text and used the lowercase "i" dot as the center point
of the laser just like the actual device's projection of the laser line.
Independently owned, Command Performance requested a new
and softer look.
I used the first letter of each word and drew it as strands of hair. Linking
them together as if it was hair curling one on top of the other. The color
supports the softer feminine side while the black letters maintains its masculine
look.
